Things to Consider in Project Design
Compliance with Appropriate Regulations
Compliance with TSE, EN54, EPDK, Transportation and BTK standards.
Especially for the fire alarm system, the Regulation on the Protection of Buildings from Fire should be taken as a basis.
Modular and Expandable Structure
Each system should be designed with flexibility to allow for future additions (especially fiber, CCTV, IPTV).
Central System Use
Security systems (camera, card access, fire, etc.) should be monitored through a single monitoring and management center .
Distribution of Infrastructure to Apartments
To each apartment:
1 or more data sockets
telephone line
Central broadcast line (TV/SAT)
Intercom line
The project should be designed to include an optional home automation module.
Grounding and Cable Channel Management
Weak current cables should be laid on routes completely separate from those for high currents.
High quality EMC shielded cables should be preferred especially in systems such as CCTV and intercom.
Energy Efficiency & Automation
Sensor systems for common area lighting.
Compatibility with smart meter infrastructure.
Data Center and System Room
A suitable cooled system room should be planned for CCTV recorders, access control servers and other equipment.
19” rack cabinet , redundant UPS supply, and fire detection systems should be in this room.
What Should Be Included in Project Delivery?
Floor-based system drawings on architectural layout plans (separately for each low-current system)
Riser diagram (vertical column diagrams)
List of symbols and their explanations
Cable metering lists
Material list and brand/model recommendations
Application and installation details
Testing and commissioning procedures
