The most important aspects of outdoor cameras are that the device has an IP67/IP68 protection rating , the correct wall/pipe type mounting bracket is used , and waterproofing is ensured . During installation, cable entries must be protected with gel sealant or waterproof glands .

Wireless systems do not require extra cables besides the power line. The device is paired via WiFi or NVR. However, if the WiFi range and modem location are incorrect, the image may freeze. Therefore, a professional site survey is recommended.


The steps for using DVR devices are as follows:
